A little bit of my story

Born & raised in a small town - Baidyanath Dham - Deoghar, in the state of Jharkhand, India; I was nurtured and raised by members of a joint family. Even my maternal family roots are in the same town and members of the family are highly regarded, both locally as well as beyond the state of Jharkhand. 

I am proud of my humble background and my family heritage. Also, I am lucky to have received the first lessons of 'life and living' from my relatives, teachers, friends and acquaintances. 

Currently, I am based out of Gurgaon, Haryana. I am married, my wife is a Financial Analyst & Content writer, and we have a son. 

I work at Hong Kong Sanghai Banking Corporation, and I am aligned to the Finance function. My work profile sits within Global Service Center of the firm.

In 2025, I crossed the 20 years milestone of my career! 

Majority of my years in corporate world are aligned to Financial Service domain. I thrive, specially while working in a group setup and I was lucky to secure people leadership responsibilities very early-on in my career. 

Currently, I am leading a team of professionals, which, among others, includes 'managers of managers' and together we are responsible for 'run-the-bank' side of operational support. We support production systems (and underlying value streams) that are essential for generating financial insights, advisories, regulatory reporting and Management Information.
